Andre Edelbrock is a leading expert in online payment systems, risk, fraud and product management. Before joining Ethoca in 2005, Edelbrock headed the department responsible for all international e-cash services and operations at CryptoLogic (NASDAQ: CRYP, TSX: CRY, LSE: CRP), one of the world’s largest e-gaming software and e-cash service providers. Edelbrock also spent two years with Procuron, an Internet B2B marketplace start-up founded by Bell Canada, CIBC, Scotiabank and Desjardins, where he played a key role in strategy, development and sales. Earlier in his career, he served as a management consultant at the Canadian offices of Deloitte Consulting and IBM. Edelbrock holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Design Engineering from the Universityof Waterloo.
Prior to founding Ethoca, Keegan Johnson spent more than 8 years in the Internet integration and ASP industry, successfully leading CryptoLogic Inc.'s technical and business integration with a number of blue-chip companies. As Program Manager, Back Office Services, Keegan was responsible for rolling out and providing direction for new multi-million dollar Marketing and Customer Service product lines. Keegan has led multi-disciplinary teams to deliver, integrate and service a wide array of internet ASP based solutions, including Supply Chain Management, Asset Management and Procurement. Keegan’s teams have worked with various top Canadian and International companies including Bell Canada, Scotiabank, CIBC, and many more. Keegan is the founding Chairman of the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Canada. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Physics.
Trained as a lawyer, engineer and businessman, Darryl Green spent six years working at Tucows Inc., a publicly listed Internet services company (AMEX: TCX, TSX: TC). Green was a key member of a team that found and integrated new lines of business, including the wholesale distribution of domain registrations, security certificates, outsourced email services, payment services, and billing services. Green personally managed the evaluation and addition of these lines of business by means of organic development, strategic partnership and corporate acquisition. Prior to this, Green worked at the law firm Davies Ward and Beck, and has worked as an engineer for Nortel, General Motors, Solvay Automotive and Dow Chemical. He has a Bachelor of Engineering Science and LL.B and MBA degrees from the University of Western Ontario.
Prior to joining Ethoca, Trevor Clarke was the Director of Operations at Davisville Game Studio (a CryptoLogic subsidiary), developing a next generation gaming application. Trevor was responsible for the overall program management, supplier/vendor management and operations and has multiple years of international experience in technology and management consulting - leading large and small development and integration teams providing services to top international companies. Trevor worked previously at Deloitte Consulting (Toronto office), and IBM delivering integrated solutions for telecommunications carriers around the globe. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Julie Fergerson is one of the industry’s foremost experts on internet payments fraud. Fergerson has 20 years of experience in the online payments and fraud management industry and holds patents for secure transaction order management processing and preventing fraudulent electronic transactions. She joined Ethoca in 2010 to help drive adoption of its collaborative ecommerce fraud prevention platform. Before joining Ethoca, Fergerson was Vice President of Emerging Technologies at Debix and Co-Founder and Vice President of Emerging Technologies at ClearCommerce. She is a co-founder and board member emeritus of the Merchant Risk Council (MRC) and a board member of the Identity Theft Resource Center, where she created and lead the Victim Assistance Program. Fergerson contributes to industry journals, books, websites, and government publications; and speaks at such events as the International Association of Privacy Professionals, National Retail Federation, Electronic Transaction Association, Economic Crime Summit, Mastercard University, Merchant Risk Council, NACHA, NRF Loss Prevention and the National White Collar Crime Conference.
As the leader of member recruitment, Steve Frook brings years of senior leadership experience with him. With a strong background in both the information bureau and payment solutions marketplace, Steve has worked with companies of all types and sizes. His relationship-oriented approach has proven invaluable at companies such as Autoscribe, Lyons Commercial Data, Dun & Bradstreet and most recently in his role as VP Member Recruitment on the Ethoca team. Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honors, and was awarded the status of Accredited ACH Professional.
